The Tyche Trays are inspired by Hatay’s rich cultural heritage. Featuring Hatay’s renowned artichoke, the Cornucopia symbolizing abundance, and the elegant Medina Date Palm of Arsuz, the Tyche series takes its name from Tyche’s crown encircling the tray. In Greek mythology, Tyche is known as the goddess of fortune and prosperity, serving as the protector of many cities, including Antakya. Often described as “all-powerful” and “wise”, Tyche holds a sheaf of wheat representing abundance. Her crown, modeled after the city walls of Antakya, surrounds the Tyche trays.
